The page appears to have part of Thomas Temple's signature near its top side, below which is written "San Gabriel / Sept 29/30." Several handwritten notes and markings are present throughout the rest of the text. This object's final attached page is a title page for "Publications of the Historical Society of Southern California, Volume 4, Numbers 1-3, 1897-99." It is likely, however, that the page was nonprofessionally bound to the rest of the volume, since it is out of order within the text.
