Description

Color: Brown; Green A color polaroid photograph of the pouring of the concrete slab for the reconstructed Pump House, ca. 1977. The view is from the south near the newly laid concrete for the Pio Pico Memorial Walkway in the foreground. Wood framing surrounds the freshly poured concrete at the center. The electric pump from the original structure lies at the right-hand side of the slab and the entire reconstruction worked around the pump. A pile of wood and dirt debris is between the walkway and the slab. To the left and right of the slab, although in shadow and hard to see, is more debris. In the background are the oak trees around the area and, barely visible through the trees, part of the Workman House. At the bottom of the object is the ink inscription "Pump House - Slab Pour." In good condition, the artifact shows little wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
