Description

Color: Brown; Green A color polaroid photograph of the original Pump House demolition looking at the interior, ca. 1977. The view is from the north and through what is left of the framing. Most of the roof is gone, with the exception of some at the south end. What may be a large section of the roof lies at an angle in the center of the structure. Parts of the east and south walls are intact and there are windows in both. At the left, there appears to be shelving attached to the wall. Left of center, but dimly viewed because of shadows, is the electric pump which is now in the reconstructed building. Details are rather hard to see, however, because of the darkness. An ink inscription at the bottom of the object reads "Pump House Demo - Interior." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
