Description

PUMP HOUSE INTERIOR SUCKER ROD DISPLAY BRACKET INSTALLATION Color: Brown; Green A color polaroid photograph of the installation of the sucker rod display brackets in the reconstructured Pump House, 7 September 1979. Restoration wood carver Harvey Morris is shown drilling a hole at the bottom of the north side bracket, which he, presumably, built, for attaching the piece to the wall stud. Notches leave arms for the rods to rest upon. At upper right is part of the eastern window. A pencil inscription reads "INSTALLING PUMP HOUSE / 9/17/79/ BRACKETS FOR SUCKER ROD." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
