The R. E. Wirsching residence, Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, 1898. The view shows the Queen Anne-style house from Brittania street and there are a man and woman, identified as the owners on the back, seated on the rail of the porch steps. There are two palm trees in the yard, which has lawns and some shrubbery. On the back are many inscriptions in pencil identifying Mr. and Mrs. Wirsching, the address, and the names of children and other family members. See item .1 for a slightly earlier view of the home. With edge wear and small stains to the matte and some soiling, nut otherwise little wear, the condition is fair.Lexicon
