Description
Race cars on the track at Ascot Speedway, Los Angeles, 10 April 1921. The photographer stood behind a fence, presumably at the bottom of a grandstand. In the foreground are three photographers next to the outside rail of the track. On the inside of the track are five race cars parked in single file with persons gathered around them. There are spectators along the infield fence and others in the general infield area. At the bottom left margin is the ink inscription, "Sun April 10, 1921. Los Angeles. Speedway." With some light yellowing and slight curvature to the paper, the condition is good overall.
