A reproduction black and white photograph of Rafaela Cota de Temple, ca. 1860, taken in 1995. Mrs. Temple sits on a chair with her hands crossed on her lap. She wears a dark-colored dress with lace trim on the collar and sleeves. A watch and chain is attached to her clothing near the chest and she wears a brooch at the collar. Her hair is parted at the middle and pulled back. A hoop earring hangs from her left ear. An oval-shaped silhouette from the glass on the original photograph borders the image. Written on the top right corner of the back is, "RALPH & CAROL TEMPLE COLLECTION / MAY 1995 / RAFAELA COTA DE TEMPLE / CA 1860." Temple was the wife of Jonathan Temple. Contact sheets for the image are items .35-37 with the negatives being items .2.1-.17. The artifact has no visible signs of damage or wear and is therefore in good condition.
