(a-d) Book: "Ramona" by Helen Hunt Jackson (2 Vols, Boston: Little, Brown & Company, 1900). Two volume set with matching bookjackets - Monterey Edition. Blue fabric hardcover with gold print and a green and yellow floral Arts and Crafts style design on both cover and spine. The two volume text of 619 pages contains a long introduction [vol. I], list of illustrations, and a list of "decorative headings" [Vols. I & II]. Many full page sepia illustrations with tissue protectors with a line quote from text printed in red. Romantic fiction. b&d) Bookjacket: Blue fabric on paper with title and author printed on the spine in gold. Both bookjackets and books are worn on the outside but the interior paper is physically sound. Overall appearance is fair. Ella L.
