A colored photographic postcard of the Raymond Hotel, Pasadena, California, ca. 1910. The image is surrounded by a silver frame-like border surmounted by a larger light brown outer border. The hotel, a large, rambling building with several wings and two large towers at center, sits atop a hill with a variety of trees and other plantings, as well as a home in the foreground. Notable features are the portico entrance at center and the red gabled roof as well as the massive size of the hotel. In the background are the San Gabriel Mountains. The unused card was published for M. S. Bartlett of Pasadena by M. Rieder of Los Angeles and manufactured in Germany. Purchased from HM volunteer Bill Stone, the card is in fair condition with a small crease on back lower left, corner dents, bluish stains on the upper left front cover and small stains on the back and some discoloration.
