Description
Real photo postcard, Angel's Flight, Los Angeles, ca. 1905. The image shows the inclined railway at Third Street next to the Hill Street tunnel with a railway car descending. To the left of the railway is a large Queen Anne style house with several other buildings lining the slope. To the right, partial view the vegetarian cafeteria building. A few pedestrians cross the street. Includes cyko stamp box on reverse. In fair condition due to the moderate silvering that obscures the darker portions of the photograph, and minor abrasions along the edges.
