A real photographic postcard of Princess Mona Darkfeather (Josephine M. Workman) ca. 1914. The silent film actress is shown posed with her body faced toward the right and her head turned facing the camera. She wears one of her film costumes composed of a beaded head band, feather, fringe blouse or shawl and beaded stone jewelery. At the bottom there is an inscription printed onto the postcard in cursive writing "Very Truly Yours Mona Darkfeather" The item was on loan to the Homestead since late 2017 along with a fan letter (2018.292.1.1). It is in fair condition due to the pin holes, adhesive residue on the back, abrasions, and soiling.
