RECEIPT, AMERICAN LOAN COMPANY, TO PHILLIP RODRIGUES, 16 DECEMBER 1908
A receipt issued to Phillip Rodrigues by the American Loan Company, 16 December 1908. On blue paper, the receipt has ther location of the company and date at the top right. The payer's name; amount paid; note number; company name; and authorized signature are on the document. It is not known what connections there was between Rodrigues and the Temple family or why the receipt was in the family's possession. On the back in Walter Temple's hand in black ink is "Receipt Rodrigues." With creases; a fold in half; and some minor discoloration, the receipt is in fair condition.
