RECEIPT, CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, FOR THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 1923
Receipt: A receipt for tuition, student body fees, rent, and board at the California Institute of Technology for Thomas W. Temple II, 2 January 1923. The amount listed was $124.90 and was due on 9 January for the term beginning on the 24th. The receipt, folded into quarters, was stamped paid on the 8th. given also is Thomas' name and address. Thomas attended the school in the fall semester 1922 with the intention of studying architecture. Although he paid the above-listed fees, Thomas, in the aftermath of his mother's death, left CalTech and returned to Santa Clara University, where he received his degree in 1926. The condition is good, with the top right corner dog-eared and a crease at the center fold. There is also some discoloration at the edges. From the Thomas W. Temple II Collection.
