RECEIPT FOR TRAIN TICKET FOR THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 24 JUNE 1929
Receipt--A train ticket receipt issued by the Consolidated Ticket Offices of the United States Railroad Administration, Boston, Massachusetts, to Thomas W. Temple II, 24 June 1929. This was for Thomas' return to California after graduation from Harvard University Law School. The amount on the receipt, which was folded in thirds, was $146.51 for passage from Boston to San Francisco. The receipt was stamped and signed by the railroad agent. The condition is fair with creases on the left fold, ink stains at two places, and some discoloration. From the Thomas W. Temple II Collection. Donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None
