Description

RECEIPT, R. FARRELL MONUMENT WORKS TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, 16 JANUARY 1929 A receipt, without an envelope, from R. Farrell Monument Works to Walter P. Temple, 16 January 1929. On plain white paper, the receipt is hand-written in black ink and lists work done on two crypts in the Walter P. Temple Memorial mausoleum, which were unsealed, inscribed with gold-finished letters, and resealed. The per price and total amount due are given, as well as the address of the works. It is not known for which crypts this work was done, as three members of the family died in 1928 and were buried in the mausoleum: Walter's sister and brother-in-law, Lucinda and Manuel Zuniga, and his sister-in-law, Jeanette F. de Temple. The document is in good condition with folds into quarters; a few creases; and light discoloration.
