RECEIPT TO F.P.F. TEMPLE FROM L. LEHMAN OF LOS ANGELES, 1874
A color photograph showing a receipt, dated 3 March 1874, to F.P.F. Temple from L. Lehman, Los Angeles dealer in furniture, bedding, crockery, and glassware, for four mattresses and two pillows for $15. The paper was kept in Temple's tin deed box, now owned by Charles and Margaret Coker. Mr. Coker is a descendant of William W. Jenkins, friend of Temple and administrator of his estate.
