A recipe from "Uncle Sam's Cook Book," ca. 1928. The white half-page has the title of the book from which it came from at the top left corner. Below this is "PART VIII / Desserts and Pastries." The sheet contains instructions to make chocolate cream pie. The bottom portion of the sheet, which contained a recipe for sweet potato pie, is missing. With acid burns; discoloration; creases; folds; tears; and a light stain, the artifact is in poor condition.
