Desserts and pastry recipes from "Uncle Sam's Cook Book," ca. 1928. The white sheet has the title of the book at the top. Below this is "PART VIII / DESSERTS AND PASTRIES." Seven recipes are included on the sheet. These are for Pineapple Snow; Caramel Spanish Cream; Crango Bovarian [sic] Cream; Charlotte Russo; Lemon Ice; Orange Ice; and Strawberry Ice. All of the printing is in black. With acid burns; soiling; darkening of the paper; a fold; a small stain; and tears, the artifact is in fair condition.
