Description

Color: Black; Gold; Red A bowl, probably made of acetate, and possibly owned by Laura G. Temple, ca. early 1920s. The artifact has a red glazed surface with a gold band of butterflies and flowers at the center. The rim is also red, but the inner surface is black, as is the bottom. There are no maker's marks or other identifying features to the bowl, which is in fair condition with many areas in which the paint has flaked off, revealing the black surface beneath. There are also many scratches and abraded areas.
