"REDLANDS, AND ITS WEALTH OF ORANGE GROVES, CALIFORNIA"
Color: Black; White
A stereoview, "Redlands, and its wealth of Orange Groves, California," published by Underwood & Underwood, Publishers, 1902. The image, taken in the Smiley Heights area of Redlands, shows a flowering shrub and small palm trees in the foreground and, at a lower elevation, an orange orchard. Beyond that there may be other fruit or nut trees. In the distance are other groves, houses, and other buildings in Redlands. At the bottom right is the caption and the copyright date of 1902. At the far left is the publisher's name and locations of business and at the right are the locations of their studios. The reverse has information about the Redlands orange industry. With only very light soiling, the overall condition is good.
