Description

REPAIR OF WALKWAY BETWEEN LA CASA NUEVA AND THE TEPEE Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of the repair of the walkway between La Casa Nueva and the Tepee, 14 September 1979. The view is to the east and the walkway extends from the lower left to the upper left. A worker is at the right digging in the dirt area south of the walk with a shovel, perhaps to regrade the area after repair work has been completed. This is assumed because the walk has been reset with new cement borders to allow for wheelchair access. A hammer and bucket are on the walkway and planks of wood lie in the dirt areas on either side. In the background left is a part of the east portico of the La Casa Nueva courtyard. At the bottom of the artifact is an inscription in blue ink reading "Walk To Teepee From East patio / Walk With Wheel Chair Add on sides / 9/11/79." In good condition, the artifact has little indication of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
