Description

REPAIR OF WALKWAY BETWEEN LA CASA NUEVA AND THE TEPEE Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of the repair of the walkway between La Casa Nueva and the Tepee, 31 August 1979. The location is at the south end of the courtyard and the view is to the east. The walkway does not appear to have been worked on much--there is a paver missing toward the top and others in that area are loose. Wood forms consisting of stakes and thin boards are on the sides, in preparation for the pouring of cement borders. This is to widen the walk for wheelchair access. A black hose also lies on the walk. Other than dirt on either side of the walk, there are no other notable features. At the bottom of the artifact is an inscription in pencil reading "Rear Walk To Teepee / Formed For Wider Curb / 8/31/79." In good condition, the artifact has little indication of wear or damage.
