Description

REPAIR TO WALKWAY NEAR NORTH END OF THE MISSION WALKWAY Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of repair work on the walkway near the north end of the Mission Walkway, ca. September 1979. The photographer stands where the Mission Walkway is located and, consequently, the section where the work is being done is heavily shadowed and not clearly seen. This is left of center where a section of pavers is removed (some of these lie at the top of the photo) and before the repouring of the mortar. Just above this sections is an area where the walk is cracked. To the left and right are portions of planters flanking the walk. At the bottom of the object in pencil is the inscription "More of Above" which references photos .944 and .945. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
