Description

REPAIR TO WALKWAY NEAR NORTH END OF THE MISSION WALKWAY Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of repair work on the walkway near the north end of the Mission Walkway, 6 September 1979. The photographer stands looking to the west toward the Mission Walkway. Just right of center is a small area where a couple of pavers have been removed in preparation for the repouring of mortar. Another paver toward the upper left has also been removed. There are other areas of loose mortar and cracking, as well. To the right is a section of the planter to the north of the walk. At the top, but heavily shadowed, is the entrance to the Mission Walkway. At the bottom of the object in pencil is the inscription "Front Walk Being Repaired / 9/6/79." This area, however, is very clearly the area near the Mission Walkway at the west lawn, not the front of the house. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
