Description

Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of a wall before replastering in the La Casa Nueva Butler's Pantry, 6 February 1979. At right is a portion of the door into the Dining Room, through which can be dimly seen a french door in the Living Room. At center is a section of the north wall, about four feet wide, with the plaster stripped away and metal lath recently installed. At the left is a part of the west wall with sections of plaster stripped away and showing the adobe wall and, apparently, brick where repairs were possibly made at one time. Most of the brick is at the lower left of the photograph. This work was done when the bathroom existent in the convalescent hospital use of the house was removed and the original metal sink reinstalled and new cabinets built around it. At the bottom of the artifact, in green ink, is the inscription "Butlers Pantry - Replastering Proc- / ess under way. / 2/6/79." In good condition, the object shows little indication of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
