Description

Color: Brown A color polaroid photograph of replicated door panels for La Casa Nueva, 30 January 1979. The three panels are resting on a bare wood work table and include two square plaques with the Temple family motto "Templa Quam Dilecta" on a clover-like design with a royal figure in profile and a rectangular piece with a central vase-like element in a detailed floral design. The former items were mounted on the Dining Room side of the doors from that room to the Main Hall, while the latter was placed on the Library side of the door from that room to the Main Hall. There are a variety of carving tools on the table; a wall of plain white tiles behind the table; and a portion of a photograph of the original carving from which the rectangular piece was done. At the bottom of the object is an inscription in blue ink reading "Carvings 11-12-13 Complete / Ready For Installation / 1/30/79." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
