"Report of the Secretary of the Interior Communicating in Compliance with a Resolution of the Senate, a Report made by R. H. [H. R.] Schoolcraft, on the State of Indian Statistics," 27 December 1854. The short report covers the land and population of tribes throughout the United States, but pages seven and eight discuss California Indians. With the pages loose, edge tears, creases, some browning, shadowing, and general fragility, the overall condition is fair.
