Description
DOCUMENTS, REPORTS OF INTERMENTS, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, MARCH 1896 and MARCH 1898. Consists of three documents. Items a) and b) are printed forms titled "REPORT OF INTERMENTS" for March 1898 showing the date, name of the deceased, age, sex, and undertaker or grave orderer. These listings run through the month. Item c) is on lined paper and titled "STATEMENT OF INTERMENTS IN COUNTY CEMETERY FOR MONTH OF MARCH 1896." It lists the deceased's name, date of interment and name of the undertaker. The name E. H. Cole at the bottom seems to be that of the preparer of the statement. The county cemetery is Evergreen Cemetery in Boyle Heights. The items are in poor condition with tears at the folds, stains, edge tears, and pin holes and are very fragile.
