REPRODUCTION PHOTO, 6TH AND BROADWAY, LOS ANGELES, CA. 1884

A reproduction photograph of a circa 1887 image of the area north of 6th and Broadway, Los Angeles by the Graham Photo Co., unknown reproduction date, but after 1918 (see item .2 for explanation.) The image is reproduced on an 8x10 sheet with a folded edge that has two holes punched in it. Broadway crosses the photo from the lower right corner toward the upper left and Sixth is just out of view in the foreground. For the most part the structures in view are residences, though there are some commercial structures to the north and a church in off Broadway just right of center. Also of note is St. Vibiana's Cathedral which is the distance just to the left of the church previously noted. The view looks north and east. At the lower right is a caption reading "Before 1887 - Looking North / across Broadway near 6th / Graham Photo Co." and the number "13315" is at the lower left corner. With light corner rubbing, soiling, yellowing, and some handling stains make the artifact in good overall condition.
