"Republic Brass Company Catalog C," issued by the Republic Brass Company, 1925. The 107-page object has a gray cardstock cover with a color illustration of a bathroom and tub down the right side of the front. The tile in the bathroom is blue. At the top left within an oval is the name of the manufacturer in red. Near the bottom left is a drawing of a man carrying plumbing equipment and below this is the letter "C" in black. Across the bottom of the cover in black ink is the name and address of Murray W. Sales & Co. The red and black seal of the manufacturer is at the center of the back. At the beginning is a title page, an introduction to the company, and a foreword. There are a variety of plumbing fixtures and hardware listed including piping, faucets, showers, drains, shampoo fixtures, spouts, curtain bars, and shower rings. At the end are roughing-in measurements, an index, and the name and address of House of Hubbell, Inc. Many black and white illustrations are included throughout. With abrasions; creased corners; tears and losses; stains; tears; and heavy surface soiling, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
