Description

"Reservoirs for Irrigation," a portion of a United States Geological Survey report, 1896. Comprising pages 693 through 740, the section discusses the Pacoima Dam, Victor Dam (near present Victorville), Antelope Valley Water Company, Santa Ana Canyon Steel Dam, and other dams in western states. There is an appendix of capacities and areas of dams, photographs, charts, and some fold-out maps. As disbound, the pages are otherwise clean and free from much wear, so the condition is fair.
