"Residence & garden," Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The image taken from the rear of the property, shows a professionally landscaped garden with lawns, walks, a bridge over a pool and much shrubbery and plantings in wide beds. The three-story home with a tiled roof seems to be in a well-to-do neighborhood and the presence of oil wells at the background right might indicate a location near the La Brea oil fields west of downtown. On the reverse is a penciled number "2045" which is crossed out and "Residence & garden." Aside from creased corners, slight edge wear, and minor soiling, the condition is good.
