Description

"Residences, West Adams Street, Los Angeles, California," Howard C. Tibbits, ca. 1910s. The view is taken from the front and side of a large two-story house with a full attic that features Colonial Revival architecture. The front yard has extensive hardscape, including cement walls with balusters, walkways, a lawn, a palm and other small trees, potted plants and other features. A portion of the driveway is at the lower right. The title is written in ink at the bottom of a linen matte, on which the photo is pasted. A stamped number is at the top right, while a crossed out number and one written next to it in pencil are at the bottom right. With minor soiling and warping on the linen, the condition is good.
