RESOLUTION BY THE CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY IN MEMORY OF THOMAS W. TEMPLE II, 1972
Color: Blue, gold, white
A resolution, issued by the California Assembly, in memory of Thomas W. Temple II, 1972. The document is housed in a dark blue hardcover with the state seal and words "A / Memorial / Resolution" in gold toward the lower right overlaid on a circular design within a rectangular border. On the inside is a thin parchment-like sheet with the same circular design, one circle having laurel leaves, and next to this the words "In Memoriam." Above this is a beige circle under which can be seen the Assembly seal, which appears on the next page. This seal is gold on the outside with a blue background on the inside, over which is the shield with red, blue and green fields for the state symbols inside. To the left of the seal is: "The / California / State / Assembly." The resolution page bordered by the same circular design, in blue, as seen in the front cover and inner page, has the state seal at the top right in brown and blue; the words "A / Memorial / Resolution" next to that; the name of the sponsor, Walter Karabian of the San Gabriel Valley below; and the text of the resolution honoring Thomas Temple. Tied in a bow in the fold is a blue ribbon. The last page of the resolution has the conclusion; resolution number; and date of subscription. The last page, on the parchment-like paper of the first page, has a laurel wreath and a gold bordered box, within which are the signatures of the Assembly Rules Committee chairman and the Assembly Speaker. With dents at the lower left and right of the front cover, but otherwise no discernible damage or wear, the document is in good condition.Lexicon
