Description
A photograph of Ribbon Rock Falls in Rubio Canyon, San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1900. The waterfalls were located near Mt. Lowe. The cascade of water is descending down a rocky landscape. To the left is a wooden staircase that was built against the rocky cliff to access the top of the falls. A platform at the top holds a group of people while another group are on the platform at the base watching the water. A few lean trees in the foreground obscure some of the scenery. With minor abrasion and discoloration, the object is in good condition.
