A collectors card of aviator Richard E. Byrd, 1928. The card has, within a single-line border, an engraving of Byrd wearing his cap and goggles resting atop his cap, with a caption at the bottom reading "Com. Richard E. Byrd / First North Pole Flight / U. S. Navy." At the bottom left is the number "52." With the bottom left corner missing, a crease near that area, and browning of the paper, the artifact is in good overall condition.
