Description

Robal Inn, San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, ca. 1920s. The view is from an empty, sandy lot across Beacon Street toward the new hotel complex, which has a large structure at the left and t least two buildings at the right, all in Tudor style. There is a freestanding roadside sign between the two buildings and a sign on the face of the building at the right, saying "Robal Inn." There are persons on the porch of the building at left and others on the sidewalk, along with three cars parked on the sidewalk. This structure was later known as "Green Gables." At the bottom right is "6482 / Huddleston Photo Co. / Los Angeles, Cal." On the reverse is a number "H43" and residue from black album mounting paper. With some soiling and stains, the condition is good.
