Photograph of Room 8, 4th and 5th grades, Belvedere School, Boyle Heights, by D. B. Hogan, 25 September 1911. The photo shows thirty-five students seated at their desks and the teacher standing in the back by the blackboard, which has the school name, room number, grades, and date written on it in chalk. On the reverse is a pasted down label with the photographer's name, address, and ordering information. While the mount is badly damaged with large missing portions, the photograph has some creases, bent corners, and is slightly soiled, so the condition is poor overall.
