Description

Color: White A seat lessee's card issued by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association to Walter P. Temple for the Rose Bowl, 1928. The card, printed in black letter on plain white paper glued to a board backing, has the venue name, city and year at the top. Beneath this with stylized border on either side is "Permanent Seat Lessee's Card." Under this are lines for the lessee's name, address, seat, row, aisle, and tunnel numbers and 15 numbers corresponding to the number of events held at the Bowl in 1928. Walter P. Temple's name and address, as well as the seat location is filled in. None of the event numbers (2-7) have been torn from some kind on damage. On the reverse is a stamped card number (84), a statement about terms of the card, and the countersignature of H.W. Hall, Secretary-Manager of the Association. See 97.58.10.69 for the other seat card. With water stains, the aforementioned torn section, and heavy discoloration, the card is in poor condition.
