Description

Color: Black; Red A catalog "Rothmoor Coats" issued by Seaman Company, Kalamazoo, Michigan, late 1920s. The cover is in red, black, and gold and has the title and company name and location at the upper left. Five images of the company's mascot terrier are in squares with black and gold backgrounds. The contents consist of photographs or drawings of women modeling company products with captions describing the coats and their social applications at bridge parties, the airport, at the polo match, horse riding, traveling overseas, and at a football game. The back cover is similar to the front, except that it has a phrase at the top right that shows the company's medallion and notes that this is a sign of a genuine Rothmoor product. With spine rubbing, creasing and denting at the front bottom right corner, some fading of the color along the spine, and staple tarnish, the condition is good.
