"Rounded Hills, Tertiary (Between Ocoya Creek and Pasuncula River)," from a sketch by Charles Koppel and lithographed by A. Hoen and Company, Baltimore, View X, Geology section, United States Pacific Railroad Exploration and Surveys, published in 1856. The view shows a an on horseback cantering on a trail in the steep pass with the "rounded hills" formations in the background. There are some areas of foxing, mainly on the margin, soiling, and creases, and the overall condition is fair.
