Description
ROWLAND AND YORBA FAMILY GROUP PORTRAIT IN FRONT OF A HOUSE
Color: Black; White
A color copy of a black and white portrait of Rowland and Yorba family members, ca. 1900. The image features approximately 80 people standing in front of a home. Men, women, young children, and infants are among those in the photograph wearing period clothing. (See 99.32.1.6 for some of the names of those pictured.) In the background is the two-story home with three trees on the left. Capped by a pitched roof and a dormer facing left, the home has three windows on the second floor wall seen on the left, and two on the wall facing to the right. Below is a porch with a hip-shaped roof with a wing to the home on the right. A windmill and two water tanks are on the far right behind a row of trees; a team of two horses is also on the far right standing behind the group and equipped with harnesses. With no signs of wear, the image is in good condition.
