Real Photographic Postcards, ca. 1930s. "Rear of Legion Hall". The RPPC shows an image of a Legion Hall . The Legion Hall shows extreme damage to the building, after the aftermath of the Glendale Floods which affected the Montrose and Glendale areas. The heavy rains caused a massive mud slide from a neighboring canyon which brought a rush of water, rocks and other debris into the Legion Hall building, killing many people inside the building while others managed to escape through doors and windows. The reverse side is undivided but has sections labled for a correspondence, address and a box to adhered a postage stamp. The print is faded and there is visible surface soiling throughout, minor yellowing along the edge, minor cracked surface which is caused by extreme fluctuations in temperature, minor warping. It is in good condition.
