Description

Color: Black; Blue; Red; Yellow A border tile from a partial rug panel, produced by RTK Studios, ca. 1990s. Made by the black-line technique, the piece has brown borders at top and bottom. The background of the panel in the middle is a light brown, over which are several designs. At the center is a diamond-shaped element with a yellow diamond center surrounded by blue. Extending from the blue area at the four corners are blue leaf-like elements. At the left and right are partial designs that are shaped like inverted or elongated diamonds and have a red center, yellow intermediate field and dark blue outer border. When this tile is joined to item 11.7, one of these elements is seen whole. With no indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
