A real photo postcard of rushing water in the San Gabriel Mountains, ca. 1920s. The view shows two branches of a body of water, with some significant volume and flow, moving around an area with heavy timber. It is possible that this is the San Gabriel River, but the only identification is a pencil inscription on the reverse that reads "San Gabriel CA /Mts.," and which may not be contemporary to the unused card. With some soiling, light discoloration and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
