San Gabriel Dam project, presumably by Ernest B. Gray, ca. June 1929. Though not identified, the image came with a series labeled by the photographer for the project and this view is from one side, apparently the east, of San Gabriel Canyon, looking across the river and its adjoining beds, to an area of the opposite side where an area, similar to that of photo 12, where roads and preparation of slopes are in process. The photo needs flattening and has creases and light soiling, but is in good condition.
