"San Gabriel Dam Project, No. 16," Ernest B. Gray, 15 June 1929. The view shows a trio of workers from contractor Fisher, Ross, MacDonald and Kahn, Inc. preparing a hillside with what looks like steel bars, gasoline drums, barrels, cans, drills and other material along a road. Identification by Gray is at the lower right of the photo, which needs flattening and has creases and light soiling, but is in good condition.
