Description
SAN GABRIEL LAS POSADAS/LOS PASTORES CELEBRATION PHOTOS, THOMAS TEMPLE COLLECTION
Photographs: 25 black and white photographs of the Las Posadas/Los Pastores celebrations held annually at the Christmas holidays in San Gabriel by the Los Padrones de San Gabriel, an organization with which Thomas W. Temple II was active. The photographs show characters in performance, with one showing Thomas Temple seated in a rocking chair and surrounded by children, which likely, but not certainly, belongs with this set of images. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. The photos are in good condition. Many have inscriptions and photographer's marks.
