A real photo postcards of the San Gabriel Mountains in California. 16 March 1913. The image taken from Mt. Lowe looking east to the San Gabriel Mountains. An inscription states "Mount Wilson Observatory." Also, on the left, is a faint mountain peak covered in snow. This is labeled "Old Baldy." There is an inscription on the back "March 16th, 1913 / Mount Wilson as seen from Mount Lowe, Calif. / note the snow / covered range / behind the highest / peak of which / is 'Old Baldy' (Mount San Antonio) / 10080 feet." With is some abrasion on the corners, moderate discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
