The view is taken from an area with stone walls above a plain with farms and orchards, but there is no clear indication as to location, except an ink inscription on the reverse reads "The mountains are Wilson / and Lowe," which means the view may be from the western extremity of Pasadena looking east. With little indication of damage or wear, the object's condition is good.
